Outside Services Begin at Bethel on August 23!
Bethel’s Administrative Council met on Wednesday August 12 and decided to begin services outside in the Shick Shack pavilion at 11 a.m. We will have services outside until further notice. Masks and six feet social distancing are mandatory. Pastor Hines is planning services within a half hour, with two or three gathered or one hundred and three gathered, rain or shine.
On the first Sunday of every month we will continue to gather for a Communion Service at 11 a.m. in the Shick Shack Pavillion. You can bring your own elements (some have used bread, cookies, any type juice, water, or raisin bread – which includes the bread and fruit of the vine all in one). Communion stewards will also have provisions – prepared with masks and gloves – if you wish.
Feel free to bring a lawn chair or remain parked in your car. These times demand we stretch the limits of creativity in order to be free as well as exercise our faith in meaningful and satisfying ways.
